We honored moms in our area and now it’s time to honor our dads just in time for Father’s Day! It is quickly approaching and News 13 is on the hunt for the best dad in our area. If you think your dad, husband or friend should be named News 13’s Dynamite Dad, we want to know. Shout his praises in 100 words or less and nominate him between now and June 3rd.
Like our mothers, there are so many great fathers in Western North Carolina that act as the pillar of strength for their family. We expect many nominations and promise to read every single one that comes in! We’ll then select & feature three finalists on-air during News 13 at 5:30PM and on Facebook the week before Father’s Day.
Only one of the three finalists can be named News 13’s Dynamite Dad 2014 and he will be revealed Friday, June 13th! This special father will win:
