This center has been in operation for 30 years.They have quietly served children and adults with special needs in Madison,Yancey and Mitchell county. they host an equestrian Special competition every spring. They host school groups on a weekly basis working collaboratively with speech, PT and special eduction teachers. It is a special place where volunteers and riders come together to work in perfect harmony. |

BACA exist to provide a safe world for children. They visit abused children, provide therapy if needed , and also go to court with thr wounded warriors. Our children are our future and ever abused child needs to be EMPOWERED and BACA provides that . They work only on donation. Its a world wide organization founded in 1994 by a child therapist. Its helped 1000's of children . So my nomination is the NORTH CAROLINA FOOTHILLS CHAPTER OF BIKERS AGAINST CHILD ABUSE .. Thanks for what you guys are doing as well !!! |

We help the lgbt/HIV/homeless/ almost homeless. The less fortunate. We make lunch bags for day labor, we provide a community meal once a week. Pastries and coffee 5 days. We only shop at Manna food bank. We provide condoms and HIV/AIDS/HepC info. We offer prayer. We offer friendship and loyalty to those we serve. The folks that come to PBJ know we care and know we understand. No paid staff, we are all special needs or volunteer. No where else to go in that's radically inclusive. We work only on donations.no grants. |
